On the road — 02

Every evening people upload, and everyone sees it.

Whoever wants to opens the link on a phone or tablet and sees the day's new pictures. Including the people who stayed at home — they are not just watching, they could add their own photos just as easily.

Afterwards — 03

Back homethe travel film is ready.

At the end you download every original as one ZIP and pass it on to the group. On top of that the software cuts the best pictures into a 30-second film with music — nobody has to sort anything.

Why EventDrop

Why EventDrop for your trip

Four households, three phones per person, one album — instead of five chat groups full of squashed pictures.

Originals, not chat quality

Photos arrive in full resolution. What you download at the end is the original file — not the shrunken version from a chat group.

Fellow travellers help manage it

With Premiere you can invite up to 3 fellow travellers as co-admins — they can sort and weed out photos without asking you.

Videos from the road

From Spotlight on you can upload videos up to 100 MB — the jump into the water and the view from the train window are not lost.

A whole year

With Premiere your travel album stays online for 365 days. Long enough for the last person to finally upload their photos.

Who are you travelling with

One album, however big the group is

You pay once per trip, not per person. Whoever uploads pays nothing.

With the family

Grandparents, parents, kids — three households, three phone generations, one shared travel album and no tutorial session.

Premiere costs $69 — split across 6 travellers that is $11.50 each.

With friends

Everyone shoots, nobody has to collect afterwards. Each evening everyone drops their pictures in, and in the end everyone takes all of them home.

Spotlight costs $29 — split across 4 travellers that is $7.25 each.

Just the two of you

Two phones, two points of view, one album — and no argument about who gathers the photos afterwards.

Spotlight costs $29 — split between 2 that is $14.50 each.

Frequently asked questions

For trips we recommend Premiere ($69): 365 days duration, unlimited fellow travellers and 3 co-admins — so the others can help manage the album. Spotlight ($29) is the cheaper entry point, where the album stays online for 90 days. Both are a one-time payment per trip, and you can extend later by 30 or 90 days.

Yes, but plan for it: originals are large, so upload them over Wi-Fi where you can — at the hotel, in a café, in the evening. The upload keeps running in the background while the page is open, and you can pick it up later at any time. Mobile data works just as well, it simply costs more of your allowance.

No. She taps the link, picks her photos and is done — no app, no sign-up, no password. Only you need an account, because you created the album. Once the duration ends the download is locked and the photos are deleted 30 days later — so download them beforehand, or extend in time.
