You'll be notified by email 48 hours before expiry. After expiry the event is deactivated — only you and your co-admins can still see the album; guests can no longer open it. Photos can no longer be uploaded, downloaded, or commented on. Your existing photos are preserved for 30 days. After that, all photos, comments, and recap videos are permanently deleted. You'll receive a reminder email 7 days before deletion.Learn more →
Yes! You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. You only pay the price difference between your current plan and the new one. You'll find the upgrade option in the event settings or gallery. Only the event creator can upgrade.Learn more →
As long as your event is active, you can download all photos as a ZIP file. This is included with Spotlight, Premiere and Studio. After expiry, the download is locked. Save your photos before then or extend your event. On your phone, the gallery also offers “Save to my phone”. On iPhone, choose the option to save photos in the share menu. On Android, the images go to the Download folder. You can back up that folder in Google Photos. Your device remembers what has already been saved. From Spotlight you can also hand the photos over to your own cloud storage in batches – with many photos, in several portions. You pick the target folder there yourself. That copy is yours and stays, even once the event expires.Learn more →
Your photos are stored on EU servers. On upload we strip the GPS location data from JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC photos. For MP4 and MOV videos, we remove known metadata blocks that may contain location data without re-encoding the picture or sound. We check WebM videos for known location markers and reject them if any are found. GIFs remain unchanged. Guests with the QR code can upload photos and view the gallery. Only you and your co-admins can delete photos (guests only their own, up to 24 hours after uploading), manage settings, and download all photos as a ZIP on paid plans.Learn more →

Open the gallery on a screen, tablet or laptop connected to a projector and start the slideshow. New photos are added automatically. The slideshow is included in every plan, including Demo. When photo analysis is enabled, EventDrop uses AI to suggest highlights and create image descriptions. The analysis can flag photos as inappropriate and hide them. Results can be wrong. Videos are not checked by this feature.
