What EventDrop does differently

Four things worth knowing before you pick either one.

One price, one event

Every paid plan is a single payment for a single celebration. There is no subscription to forget about and nothing to cancel afterwards.

Photos stay in the EU

Uploads are stored on servers in the EU under the GDPR, and location data is removed from every photo before it is saved.

A recap video is included

EventDrop assembles a 30-second recap from the album automatically — part of every plan, not a separate order.

Nothing to install for your guests

Scan, upload, done. No app, no account, no password — on any phone with a camera and a browser.

Frequently asked questions

Our entry plan is lower: Flash is $9 for 50 guests over 30 days, while their cheapest published package is $39 for a party and $49 for a wedding. The two are not like for like, though — their hosting runs 12 months from the event date, ours runs 3 to 365 days depending on the plan. Compare the row that matters most to you, not only the number.

There is no import — a gallery lives with whoever hosts it. What you can do is create an EventDrop album, print a fresh QR code, and download everything from the old gallery while it is still online. For your guests nothing changes: they scan and upload, exactly as before.

If the album has to stay online for a year without you thinking about it, their 12-month hosting window is the simpler answer. If you want a lower one-time price, storage inside the EU under the GDPR and a recap video you do not have to order, EventDrop is the closer fit. Neither asks your guests to install anything.

Try it before you decide
