Secret Santa with your favourite people

A little gift. A big mystery. Enter the names and print slips and wish cards, free and without an account. And when you get together, collect the photos from the night in one shared album.

How to organise your Secret Santa

  1. Agree on a budget first, for example 10 to 20 euros. Choose a date to open your gifts together.
  2. Enter 3 to 30 different names or nicknames. Use nicknames for children and have an adult organise their participation.
  3. Print the assigned slips, cut off the wish cards and fold each slip. Give each person the slip with their own name on the outside. The inside tells them whom to buy for.
  4. Fill in your wish cards and pass them to the person buying your gift. Save the reveal for your party.

Your free printable set

Prepare one assigned gift slip and one blank wish card per person. Only you as the organiser see the print template.

One name per line. 3 to 30 people, at most 60 characters per name. Use different nicknames for people with the same first name.

Five photo ideas for your evening

  • The most mysterious gift before opening
  • The wonkiest wrapping paper
  • The moment a gift is opened
  • The reveal: giver meets recipient
  • A group photo with all the gifts

After the draw: the photos from the night

The names are drawn. So that everyone ends up with everyone’s photos, all you need is a QR code on the table.

  1. Several hands from different generations hold phones over the Christmas table and photograph the same moment from different sidesAI illustration

On the night: everyone takes photos

A QR code sits on the table. Grandma, the kids and even the aunt who cannot make it this year upload their photos, with no app and no login. The result is one album from every angle that you look through together and keep as a ZIP.

Secret Santa questions

What is Engerl-Bengerl?
Engerl-Bengerl is the Austrian name for Secret Santa. Each person buys a gift for one other person. Who buys for whom stays a secret until the reveal.
Are the slips and wish cards free?
Yes. Prepare and print the set for 3 to 30 people without an account. You can also save it as a PDF in the print dialog. A shared photo gallery is a separate offer.
Where are the names stored?
Names stay in your browser. We do not send them or store them permanently. Reloading the page clears them. A saved PDF stays on your device until you delete it yourself.
Are the assignments secret from everyone?
Each person is assigned exactly once and nobody buys for themselves. The organiser can see every assignment when printing. Fold the slips and hand them out using the name on the outside. Personal secret links are not available here.
How do I collect your Christmas photos?
Create a Christmas gallery with Spotlight for a one-time payment of $29. Guests upload using a QR code without an app or account. The free printable set also works without a gallery.
