No. One person creates the album and pays once, everyone else just opens the link and uploads. Nobody in the group sees a checkout screen, and there is no subscription anyone would have to cancel later.
Yes. Pictures are stored at the resolution they were uploaded at. The bulk ZIP download is started by whoever created the album — or by a fellow traveller you added as a co-admin. Once it expires the download is locked, and after that the photos are deleted automatically — so save them beforehand, or extend the album.
