Gallery link or upload link?

The gallery link opens the photos; the upload link opens photo selection directly. Both lead to the same event, with a different starting point.
Gallery link
Guests can view the photos and upload their own. If you allow it, they can also comment and react.
With “Approval before publishing” enabled, new guest photos appear in the guest gallery only after you approve them. See Review photos before they appear for details.
Upload link
The upload link opens photo selection directly. The upload QR code and invitation or table cards lead there. Thank-you cards open the gallery instead.
When sharing from the gallery
- Choose “Share”. On your phone, you’ll find this under “More”.
- Choose “View photos” or “Upload photos”.
- Copy or share the selected link.
The link and invitation text change with your choice. The dialog shows the QR code only under “Upload photos”. Find more tips in Share event with guests.
Custom event link
With Studio, the event creator can also create a custom link under “Invitation”. It requires a PIN and leads to the upload page. See Custom event link for the setup.
