Protecting an event with a PIN

You can add a 4- to 6-digit PIN to your album. Opening it then requires both the link and the PIN. Both can be passed on.

Available from Spotlight (Spotlight, Premiere and Studio).

How to set it up

  1. Open your event → Settings.
  2. Enable the access code and choose a 4-to-6-digit PIN.
  3. Share the PIN separately from the link, e.g. in person or on the invitation.

What guests experience

Guests enter the PIN once. Access then lasts 24 hours on that device. For a multi-day celebration, guests may need to enter it again.

You can change or remove the PIN in the event settings. You cannot read it back. If you forget it, set a new one.
