Set up a custom event link

With Studio, you can give your event a custom link name. Guests enter the PIN through this link before reaching the upload page.

Set up your link

Only the event creator can create, change or turn off the link.

1. 01Open “Invitation” in your event, then “Custom event link”.
2. 02If there is no PIN yet, choose “Set access code”. Follow the PIN guide to set it up.
3. 03Enter your preferred name under “Link name” and choose “Create link”. Use “Copy link” to share it.

Which names are allowed?

Your chosen name forms the last part of the link. It must have 3 to 40 characters: letters a–z, digits and single hyphens between characters. Accented letters, spaces and hyphens at the start or end are not allowed. Uppercase letters become lowercase.

Names already taken or reserved are unavailable. Each event can use up to five different names.

Change or turn off the link

Choose “Change link” to replace the name. The previous link stops working. Choose “Turn off link” to deactivate your custom link.

Previous names stay reserved for your event until the event is deleted. You can reactivate them later; they still count towards the five-name limit.

You must turn off the custom link before removing the PIN. Changing the PIN remains possible.

What do guests see?

Guests enter the PIN first, then reach the upload page. Guests who already have access are redirected immediately. The QR code and standard links keep working. See Share an event.
