Download photos

As the host or a co-admin, you can download all photos as a ZIP file (from the Spotlight plan up). You'll find the download in the gallery view. Download is not available on the Demo plan – upgrade to Spotlight or higher.

One thing to note: the download only works while your event is active. It is locked once the expiry date passes, so download your photos in good time or extend the event in its settings.

On your phone the gallery also has “Save to my phone” — for guests and hosts alike: on iPhone the photos land straight in your Photos app via the share sheet, on Android in your Download folder, which you can back up in Google Photos under “Back up device folder”. Your device remembers what's already saved and only offers new photos on your next visit.

If the gallery also offers your cloud storage, there is a third route from Spotlight: you hand the photos over to your own cloud storage in batches – with many photos, in several portions. You pick the target folder in the provider's window; EventDrop never learns it. This is a one-off transfer, not an ongoing sync — photos guests upload later have to be handed over again. The copy stays in your account, even once the event expires.
