Collecting Christmas party photos — no app, GDPR-compliant
1 min read · Updated 09/10/2026Whether it's a family celebration or the company holiday dinner: a QR code on the tables brings every guest's photos into one shared album — no app install, no account, full resolution.
**How it works**
1. Create an event, using the “Corporate event” template if it fits.
2. Print the QR card for the tables — a ready-made PDF, no design tool needed.
3. Guests scan the code and upload straight from their phone — Android and iPhone.
**Keeping it to the right circle**
From Spotlight you can lock the album with a PIN, so only invited guests can upload and view it. You can hide individual photos afterwards at any time.
**During the party**
The gallery shows new photos as a slideshow on every plan, including Demo. For a dedicated projector view with no controls, Spotlight and up unlocks the Live Photo Wall — the event QR code stays on screen so latecomers can join right away.
**Getting more guests involved**
From Spotlight you can set photo tasks — small, playful prompts like “A photo at the mulled-wine stand” that nudge guests to keep shooting.
**Afterwards**
EventDrop automatically builds a 30-second recap video from the uploaded photos — perfect for the family group chat or the first day back at work.
**Pricing**
Spotlight ($29) covers most Christmas parties, Premiere ($69) keeps the album online for a year. All prices are final prices (no VAT under the Austrian small-business exemption).
