Control access and deletion
Location data is stripped from JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC photos on upload, the album is not publicly discoverable, and you can delete it completely at any time. From Spotlight, you can also protect it with a PIN.
Frequently asked questions
Spotlight (€19) covers most family gatherings: unlimited guests, 90 days, video uploads, PIN protection and 2 helpers. If the album should stay online until next year's get-together, Premiere (€49) keeps it for 365 days.
No. They point the phone camera at the QR code and upload right from the browser — no app, no account, no password. Anyone who can send a photo in a group chat can do this.
Yes. The album is not publicly discoverable, and on Spotlight and Premiere you can lock it with a 4- to 6-digit PIN. Location data is stripped from JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC photos on upload, and the photos are stored in the EU. For MP4 and MOV videos, we remove known metadata blocks that may contain location data without re-encoding the picture or sound. We check WebM videos for known location markers and reject them if any are found. GIFs remain unchanged.
