Redeeming a promo code — where do I enter it?

The field for your promo code sits in the **last step at checkout**: in the EventDrop order summary — before you are taken to the Stripe payment page — expand „promo code", type the code and confirm it. The discount shows up in the total right away — you only ever pay what is shown there.

**A link ending in `?code=`**

If you received the code as a link ending in `?code=`, the field is pre-filled for you. Nothing to type; just check that the discount appears in the summary before you pay.

**A code replaces a running promotion**

While a promotion is running we take it off automatically. If you enter your own code on top, your code takes its place — the two do not stack. So compare briefly which one is cheaper for you.

**Per event**

A code applies to the purchase of one event. If you create a second event later, enter it again there, as long as it is still valid.

**Demo stays free**

You do not need a code for the Demo plan: it is free anyway and never reaches a payment page.
