Conformity Status

EventDrop is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA, Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (Web-Zugänglichkeits-Gesetz, WZG). This statement applies to eventdrop.at.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1. The non-conformances are listed below.

New WCAG 2.2 success criteria: 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured, 3.2.6 Consistent Help, 3.3.7 Redundant Entry, 3.3.8 Accessible Authentication.

Measures Taken

• Semantic HTML throughout the application
• Color contrast ratios meet WCAG AA standards
• Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
• ARIA attributes for dynamic content and modals
• Skip-to-content link for efficient navigation
• Dark mode support with sufficient contrast
• Automated accessibility testing (axe-core) in CI/CD pipeline

Known Limitations

• User-uploaded images may lack descriptive alt text
• User-uploaded videos do not include captions or audio descriptions
• Third-party components (Stripe payment forms) are governed by their own accessibility policies
